Development Programs
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This program is a 24-30-month program at one of our manufacturing facilities. During this program you will gain an understanding and experience in the implementation of EH&S management systems, procedure/policy development, regulatory processes, project management, manufacturing process knowledge, and people leadership.
FINANCE & ACCOUNTING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This program is a 3-year program with rotations at our World Headquarters and our manufacturing facilities. During this program you will gain experience from audit, manufacturing, commercial and corporate finance rotations. You will have opportunities to further your development through training programs, project management and people leadership.
FURNACE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
This program is a 2-year program with rotations at one of our manufacturing facilities. During this program, you will gain experience in manufacturing, batch, furnace, and fiberizing processes. You will get to work with subject matter experts from our Science & Technology Center.
HUMAN RESOURCES LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This three-year program includes two 18-month rotations at different manufacturing facilities. During this program you will first build foundational HR skills in employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and compliance, then advance to strategic HR partnership work in workforce planning, change management, and business strategy.
INFORMATION SERVICES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
This program is a 2-year program with four 6-month rotations at our World Headquarters. During this program, you will gain an understanding of the Information Service role in supporting business strategy, and experience in project management and state-of-the-art technologies (ERP, Digital/Web, Analytics, Security, cloud-based infrastructure, etc.).
MANUFACTURING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This program is a 24-30-month program with three rotations at one of our manufacturing facilities. During this program, you will gain experience in manufacturing processes and product technologies, operations, maintenance, and people leadership.
MAINTENANCE MANUFACTURING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This program is a 24-30-month program with rotations at one of our manufacturing facilities. During this program, you will gain experience in maintenance planning activities, enterprise resource planning, reliability processes, capital projects, and people leadership.
SALES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
This program is a 2-year program with a first rotation at our World Headquarters and the second rotation out in the field. During this program you will gain inside sales experience, customer operations, sales execution, territory management, pricing strategy, product expertise and sales leadership mentorship.
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This is a 3-year program with rotations each year at our Science & Technology Center. During the program, you will gain experience on delivering business results by solving complex technical challenges that lead to new business growth, improved product performance, significant cost reductions, and/or process improvements.
STRATEGIC GROWTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (SGLP)
Requiring an MBA, this program facilitates four separate rotations — two 90-day sprints and two year-long assignments designed to give candidates exposure to each of Owens Corning’s global businesses. Career opportunities in the program are designed to accelerate readiness for future leaders with a strategic growth mindset and a desire to make an impact.
SUPPLY CHAIN & SOURCING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
This program is a 3-year program with three rotations at our World Headquarters and our manufacturing facilities. During this program you will gain experience in operations acumen, financial acumen, supply chain/sourcing expertise, and people leadership.
