Job Context

Glass veil is manufactured in a continuous production process in successive processes, namely fabric preparation, fleece production and post-processing of the product. Work is carried out in 5 shifts.

The plants for the main process are highly automated and controlled from a central control room. Other parts of the plants have local control and operating facilities.

 

Position in the organisation

Reports to                          : Quality Leader of Apeldoorn

Leading hierarchically        : n/a

Leading functionally           : professionally directs the Quality Department (KWD) Operators in the 5 shifts

 

Job Purpose

Responsible to ensure, through cooperation, that the products produced meet quality standards, to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction, ensuring that procedures and processes are maintained and adhered to.

Operations Quality

- Responsible for identifying and promptly raising and

  resolving quality issues so that there is no further

  impact to the customer.

 

- Analyzes product and process data, provides feedback

  on performance and trends, provides recommendations

  to improve performance

- When deviations in production are identified, support is

  provided in finding the causes

- Reviews non-conformity material

- Oversees quality systems and certifications

- Support new product introductions

- Manages, monitors and maintains customer

  specifications and provides technical support

- Ensures control plans are developed and effectively

  implemented

- Leads or participates in cross functional projects to

  implement product or process improvements

- Ensures knowledge and standards are kept up to date and continuously improves KWD's processes.
