POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all projects, work, and resources necessary for the shift to remain productive and support the plant’s performance objectives. This role is the primary source of communication regarding upset conditions involving mechanical or electrical issues and will be required to make sound troubleshooting and repair decisions. The Maintenance Coordinator will also work with outside contractors and the Planner to procure any parts required. This role will serve as an informal people leader, providing daily direction to Night shift mechanics, when necessary.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Review notifications entered from previous day or weekend.
2. Communicate with Supervisors/Coordinators and review the following information sources to fullyunderstand and identify potential or known issues prior to the Huddle:
3. Review open Operations Work Orders and coordinate scheduling with Shift Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisor. Communicate plan.
4. Supervise Night shift mechanics, ensuring they are held accountable to plant rules and policies and department expectations.
5. Review PM work orders and verify parts are charged correctly.
6. Conduct audits on completed work (ensuring quality, effectiveness, and housekeeping) and communicate via communication boards in each area as well as to the requestor, Operations Leader, and Maintenance Leader.
7. Update communication boards concerning the status of work orders and communicate as to the original requestor, Operations Leader, and Maintenance Leader.
8. Attend the Operations huddle to ensure alignment on priorities for the day.
9. Attend Daily Approval meeting and help establish priorities.
10. Correct errors for all non-maintenance notifications (such as equipment, details, and priorities) within SAP and/or enter any missing notifications.
11. Manage MOC process (verify all notifications that will result in a change are properly documented and approved).
12. Review all open work orders in SAP and reprioritize backlog as necessary.
13. Attend weekly planning meeting and be prepared to discuss critical work and adjust priorities for maintenance, operations and the lab as necessary.


Downtime and Major Shutdowns
1. Plan shutdown activities for operations and coordinate with the maintenance, safety, quality and the TPM
team leaders who, what, when, and where each employee is assigned during the shutdown to avoid conflicts. Use common planning tools.
2. Manage all production requests for maintenance support and enter notifications at least a week before shutdown if possible.
3. Manage all necessary tools, supplies, and equipment needed during shutdown.
4. Coordinate any contractor work associated with production needs.
5. Post the shutdown plan and participate in shutdown planning and update meetings.
6. During shutdown, coordinate the daily shutdown activities with maintenance, production, quality, and
safety teams. Review progress against the plan with Supervisors and Operations Leader, make
modifications when necessary and communicate any changes.
7. Verify all work is completed to expectations (quality, effectiveness, and housekeeping).

TPM
1. Active role in TPM through PM Pillar participation and working with T&D Coordinator to aid in Craft and
Operator Care training materials. Serve on T&D Pillar as PM rep.

• In depth knowledge of manufacturing, industrial maintenance, and machine control principles.
• Strong knowledge of LTT, energy control procedures and safe working procedures.
• Defines electrical spare parts needs, such that inventories are maintained at appropriate levels.
• Plans and lays out repair work using drawings, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.
• Demonstrates flexibility to perform various job roles within the maintenance department as assigned.


Required Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years related industrial experience industrial electrical maintenance or Associates Degree, certification, or applicable military training in Electrical Maintenance.


Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment
• Working from heights (up to150ft) including man lifts & climbing ladders.
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee and squatting, push and pull 50 pounds).
• Exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable; and outside weather as needed.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
