About the position
The  EU Finance Transformation Leader plays a crucial role in identifying, initiating, leading, and overseeing strategic initiatives within Owens Corning in Europe to drive significant changes and achieve best in class organizations.
 
The candidate will contribute by playing a critical role in guiding an organization through periods of significant change, helping it adapt to new challenges, seize opportunities, and ultimately achieve its long-term strategic goals.
 
The job incumbent is responsible for developing and executing transformational strategies, programs, and initiatives to improve organizational performance, efficiency, and competitiveness. This role involves aligning cross-functional teams, resources, and driving cultural and operational change, including participating in M&A activities and integration efforts to achieve long-term objectives.
 
The position is an important part of the financial talent pipeline and serves as a feeder for larger corporate roles.

 

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed 

Strategic Development
•    Collaborate with European senior leadership to define and refine the organization's transformation vision, objectives, and goals.
•    Develop comprehensive transformation programs that are aligned with company’s strategy, mission and values
 
Defining program business case
•    To seek corporate support and approval:
•    Set for each program the cost benefit analysis
•    Set operational KPIs that should be achieved once the program implemented
•    Track and maintain program financial and operational performance according the approved KPIs.
 
Program Management
•    Lead and oversee transformation initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively, on time, and within budget. Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to meet targets
 
Change Management :
•    Coordinate with HR and key stakeholders to put an appropriate change management plan in place to :
o    Develop and implement change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
 
Cross-functional leadership
•    Build and lead cross-functional teams responsible for executing various aspects of the transformation, including technology, operations, human resources, and finance
 
Performance metrics
•    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement systems to assess the progress and success of the transformation.
•    Regularly report on performance to senior leadership and stakeholders
 
Risk Management
•    Identify potential risks and obstacles to the transformation and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that the organization remains agile and adaptable in the face of challenges
 
Stakeholder communication & alignment
•    Maintain project alignment as well as clear and effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including employees, executives, and external partners.
•    Provide regular & systematic updates on the transformation's progress

 

Business requirements
•    Proven experience in leading and managing complex transformation programs within large organizations
•    Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies
•    Excellent leadership and team management skills
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•    Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
•    Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
•    Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
•    Knowledge of industry-specific best practices and emerging trends in transformation and change management
