Job Summary: you will be instrumental in operationalizing planet data governance framework across key functions Operations, R&D, Procurement and risk management. will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices within the organization. Leveraging data analytics and governance metrics, you will execute initiatives in climate action. You will lead cross-functional alignment through structured governance mechanisms, ensuring consistent implementation and tracking of environmental KPIs. You will support the integration of sustainability into business processes and decision-making, drive environmental risk management. You will contribute to the production of the sustainability report (in CSRD format), Ecovadis certification and the broader sustainable development report, while supporting internal engagement on ESG issues. This role requires a strong regulation & environmental compliance knowledge and a deep understanding of environmental laws

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and analyze regulatory and standards developments to ensure compliance and strategic alignment. Ensure the company adheres to all local, state, and federal and Global environmental regulations.
  • Policy Development: Draft and review policies related to environmental sustainability and compliance. Your role will focus on translating global sustainability ambition into actionable policies, measurable control and performance driven action plan across functions.
  • Planet KPI’s management: Lead the end-to-end process of collecting, validating, and analyzing planet data, ensuring it meets the highest standards of accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance watch: Conduct legal research on environmental laws and regulations to support sustainability initiatives. Ensuring planet KPI’s are aligned with global science-based targets, local realities, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Risk Management: Developing and monitoring environmental risk models to proactively manage exposure and ensure regulatory compliance. Identify and mitigate environmental risks associated with company operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Integrating sustainability into core business processes using data-informed decision-making tools. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability practices.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs on environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Reporting: Establishing governance dashboards to track progress against objectives. Prepare and present reports on sustainability metrics and compliance status to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Or Master?)  in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Sustainability Management regulation & compliance, Environmental Law, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental regulations and compliance. Demonstrated expertise in regulatory frameworks (CSRD, TCFD, TNFD, SBTi, ISO 14001) and material environmental topics (GHG, circularity, water, biodiversity). Environmental Subject Matter Expert.
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability practices. Ability to connect environmental ambition with business objectives, operational realities, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Skills: Excellent regulatory research, analytical, and communication skills. Skilled in deploying and optimizing ESG governance systems across multiple business functions. You’re comfortable navigating data analysis tools and possess strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
