Supply Chain Lead

Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Lead to oversee all aspects of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Distribution at our high-volume interior door manufacturing facility in Yarrow, BC. Producing between 6,000–10,000 doors daily, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless material and product flow throughout the plant.
As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you’ll lead a cross-functional group of direct and indirect reports, champion operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain performance through innovation and process improvement
- Lead all transactional functions: customer service, production control & scheduling, shipping & receiving, warehouse management, and inventory control
- Collaborate closely with the Plant Leader to enhance purchasing systems and production planning
- Drive a results-oriented culture focused on data, accountability, and measurable outcomes
- Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and maximize asset utilization
- Ensure compliance with customer supply chain scorecards (e.g., in-stocks, lead times, on-time delivery, forecast accuracy)
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and a “one plant” mindset to achieve shared goals
- Support development of multi-functional business teams in partnership with divisional replenishment and category managers
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance customer engagement and influence
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Lead all areas of supply chain including transportation, logistics, purchasing, replenishment, inventory control, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering preferred
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience accepted
Certifications
- CPM, SCM, or SPSM certification highly desirable
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in CPFR, financial forecasting, inventory management, and customer service
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and supply chain finance
- Proven ability to manage multiple departments in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with Kaizen, 5-S, and wood product manufacturing preferred

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $99,000 to $130,000 CAD (Canada Band 5B Doors)
- Additional Benefits: Performance bonus, group benefits, RRSP matching, and employee stock options
- Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This range applies specifically to the Yarrow location.
