About the position

Join us in making the world a better place by reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions! Foamglas manufactures and provides insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption. Here at Owens Corning we are fully engaged in reducing our CO2 emission by a series of ongoing investments. We are looking for a Sales Leader Austria/ Eastern Europe and Italy who will be partnering closely with the Sales Leader Central Europe, to define and execute our Foamglas strategy.

 

This is a pivotal role in the success of our business, balancing engaged business strategy discussion (you have authority to challenge our choices!) with more execution excellence to achieve our long range plan. You will be leading and coaching a team of 6 direct reports who will provide you with support in the decisions you make.

 

What does success look like?

  • Ability to build strong partnerships with the Sales Leader Central Europe to define commercial choices and sustain industry margin benchmark.
  • Identify and execute the ambitious growth strategy.
  • Develop commercial capabilities across the teams and establish a high performing team.
  • Desig and recommend sales and marketing programs in alignment with peers and Sales leader.
  • Setting long- and short-term sales strategies for the assigned region.
  • Sourcing and selecting dealers and other distributors.
  • Recruiting new sales staff and participating in interviewing process.
  • Deliver on volume, profitability and revenue expectations in the assigned territories.
  • 6 direct reports (Sales leads)

Business requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor and / or Master degree.
  • 5+ years of Sales or Commercial Excellence experience.
  • Inspirational Leader with the ability to lead vertically and horizontally.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Location: Germany (South)
