One of our brands, Foamglas, manufactures and provides insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption.

 

We are looking for a Sales Lead for the South West region of Germany (greater Frankfurt). In this role, you will be a key player in driving regional sales, managing strategic client relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution within high-value and technical construction environments. You’ll operate at the intersection of business development, technical advisory, and project coordination — acting as a trusted advisor to clients and partners across the insulation and waterproofing value chain.

 

 

About the position

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engaging in sales and prospecting activities to expand diverse client portfolio’s across assigned territories;
  • Expanding the client base and penetrating new market segments;
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including clients, project owners, architects, and strategic installers;
  • Analyzing market trends in insulation and flat roofing through (field) insights; identify competitor activity, pricing movements, and shifts in customer demands to execute your commercial strategy;
  • Ensuring effective project follow-up, including coordination of deliveries and management of customer claims;
  • Product Oversight & Site Follow-up: monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery and product compliance; ensure all site feedback is documented & shared in CRM to increase efficiency;
  • Ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and opportunities through CRM; Provide technical & commercial support tailored to client needs;
  • Monitor payment processes and follow up on outstanding balance;

 

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed

  • Hunter, frontline Sales, able to identify and chase projects by mining project databases, identifying leads and nurturing contacts in the market
  • Strong business mindset. Being curious about customer needs and the ability to translate these in our value proposition and solutions;
  • Ability to persuade and to adjust easily to various personalities of customers;
  • Results oriented with a proven track record in establishing and achieving ambitious goals;
  • Ability to be flexible, to plan, and meet deadlines, operating both autonomously and in a team;
  • Representing the organization to customers, the public and other external sources;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term partnerships with internal and external customers.

 

Experience

  • Commercial experience in a technical specification driven businesses.
  • Strong affinity with the building and construction industry.
  • Familiar with technical consultative selling to prescription market (architects, engineering offices, Contractors, influencers etc.);

  • Relevant technical degree, e.g. engineering. Preferably at university level.
  • Relevant commercial experience in specification and / or project Sales. Preferably in the Building & Construction industry.
  • Experience in building insulation is an advantage
  • Ability to work in an international matrix organization.
  • Ability to lead one's own work and solution-oriented approach.
  • Passion to travel and visiting clients in the region
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Location: the ideal candidate is located in the Frankfurt area to ensure proximity to customer base
