Sr. Sales Lead North Germany - Foamglas Insulation

One of our brands, Foamglas, manufactures and provides insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption.
We are looking for a Sr. Sales Lead for the region Rhein-Ruhr who will be managing a team of front line Sales Leads (between 4 to 7 direct reports) covering the defined territory, reporting to the Country leader Germany. This managerial position executes objectives and strategies within the business segment, commercial organization and key functional areas. In addition to this, the Sr. Sales Lead will also have direct front line sales responsibilities and related revenue targets.
This is a pivotal role in the success of our business, balancing growth strategy with execution excellence while managing a team of front line Sales Engineers.
About the position
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and contribute via direct selling activity towards profitable sales in your territory.
- Executing sales and marketing programs in alignment with peers and country leader.
- Setting short-term sales strategies for the assigned region.
- Keep track of pipeline growth, provide forecasting input and course correct if needed
- Sourcing and selecting dealers and relevant distributors.
- Define and maintain key accounts.
- Coach and provide people management support to your direct reports
- Reviewing training requirements as necessary.

Experience
- Commercial experience in a technical specification driven businesses.
- Strong affinity with building and construction area.
- Leading people, either directly in a people manager role, or in a project leader setting.

- Relevant technical degree, e.g. engineering. Preferably at university level.
- Relevant commercial experience in specification and / or project Sales. Preferably in the Building & Construction industry.
- Team leadership experience; managing, coaching and developing a Sales Team.
- Ability to work in an international matrix organization.
- Ability to lead one's own work and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluent in both English and German.
- Location: the ideal candidate is located in the Rhein-Ruhr area to ensure proximity to customer base and team.
