PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

In this AR Analyst role, you will be responsible for protecting the company’s assets by managing the North America & EMEA customer portfolios while operating in a business exposed to credit risks. This role requires the ability to diligently navigate between cash collection and order release management, while developing strong knowledge of your customers and getting familiar with Glass Reinforcements businesses, products and commercial strategies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Knowing the Stakeholder and their strategies

  • Build relationships within the Treasury organization, cross-functionally, and with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand the strategic direction of the business and execute functional strategies to support and enhance business results
  • Maintains the relationships with our customers and understands what it takes to ensure their success

 

Executing the Strategy

Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts aligned with set financial objectives, specifically:

  • Collection of past due balances, while maintaining a follow up system with notes, in accordance with established goals
  • Independently handle all the tasks related to customer’s portfolio (order release, follow-up with sales team on business volumes, A/R monitoring)
  • Customer/Supplier/Operations escalation management
  • Develop action plans collaboratively with credit leader and sales teams to maximize results and mitigate risk
  • Effective escalation of customer issues to credit leader and leadership teams with timliness
  • Collaborate with credit leader to deliver insightful management reporting
  • Participate in cash forecasting for business units and customers supported
  • Analyze cash discount deductions for resolution; collect as appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with required internal controls and policies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma; bachelor degree desired
  • 2 years of customer experience with accounts receivable, collections, or cash application
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Spanish preferred as a second language

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge of Mircosoft Excel, SAP or other ERP software
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collections techniques
