As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth, profitability, and long-term partnerships with Owens Corning's most strategic customers. This role leads account planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver business objectives while strengthening customer relationships and expanding market opportunities.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to key customers while partnering closely with Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other business functions to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive profitable growth. Success in this role requires strong commercial leadership, financial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and lead across a matrixed organization.

POSITION LOCATION: Toronto, ON (60–70% travel required)


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute strategic customer plans that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer success.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and customer business reviews to strengthen partnerships and achieve business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand share of wallet, increase customer value, and grow strategic accounts.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring customer needs and market insights are represented within the organization.
  • Partner with Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other teams to develop and execute customer growth initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM tools, sales analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities, guide decision-making, and improve business performance.
  • Forecast sales performance, monitor account trends, and manage profitability across assigned customers.
  • Develop customer-specific strategies that balance growth, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer commitments and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer developments to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Drive accountability and execution excellence across customer-facing activities and business priorities.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance customer experience, business processes, and commercial effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in sales, account management, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing large and complex customer relationships.
  • Experience developing and executing growth strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including experience managing commercial performance.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms, sales analytics, and business insights to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment among multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel 60–70%.

  • Experience leading or coaching customer-facing sales teams.
  • Experience working within building materials, manufacturing, industrial products, construction, or related industries.
