Inventory Control Analyst

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This role is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, monitoring inventory accuracy, and resolving discrepancies to ensure smooth material flow throughout the facility. It requires strong coordination with multiple departments, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to analyze data, conduct root‑cause investigations, and provide inventory insights to management. The position also involves supporting physical inventory efforts, maintaining adherence to safety standards, and sustaining inventory control processes in a fast‑paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts daily cycle counts of the Supermarket ensure accurate inventory levels in the system.
- Monitors inventory levels closely and resolves as issues become apparent.
- Partner with the various departments to ensure that all transactions are being accounted for.
- Understand the production schedule and mark product to be ran that day.
- Runs daily reports to identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
- Conducts and assists in cycle counting and physical inventory of the component warehouse.
- Provides inventory analysis to upper management along with recommendations for better inventory control.
- Maintains records pertaining to inventory control.
- Performs root cause analysis and record results.
- Ensues the seamless movement of products and inventory.
- Works to resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines and all OSHA standards.
- Ability to be certified and to drive a forklift.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 2-year college degree-preferred.
- Experience in cycle counting, inventory control, and computerized ERP system.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with strong self‑motivation and accountability.
- Attention to details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Possess the ability to create solutions.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint to create and manipulate documents.
- Works with integrity and respect displaying a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
Language: Able to communicate in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to read and write. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is frequently required to perform repetitive motions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to feel or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. Ability to sit at a computer and enter data for extended periods of time throughout a work shift. The employee is required to bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, talk, and hear. Manually lift/slide/flip materials or boxes of material (max. 50-100 lbs.) with assistance, bending, lifting, twisting, agility - constant moving. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working amongst moving parts, oil, grease, coolants, fumes and other airborne particulates which can become hazardous under certain circumstances. Mildly controlled environment - can expect some cold and heat during extreme weather conditions. Must be able to stand and walk for 10-hour shift.
