GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates of all production orders delivered to production shop floor (Includes all primary and secondary operations).
- Processes stock orders and date production base on department capacity – Communicate issues with operations.
- Coordinates remake items and communicate information to the floor.
- Works with production & shipping to ensure all orders are scheduled for delivery in a timely manner.
- Full coordination with customer service and plant management on all issues relating to product scheduling for production.

Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment. May require regular visits to the production floor to collect, track, and reconcile production tickets, verify production data, and coordinate with operations personnel.

- Track, collect, and reconcile production tickets and production data to ensure scheduling accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and provide timely communication regarding schedule changes, delays, or production constraints.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Competent PC skills (Excel, Word and Masonite systems knowledge Master-pack Production Scheduling).
- Degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to document, review and analyze workflow processes, company policies, and legal requirements to be able to help establish, train and maintain new improved processes.
- Must be cross trained in shipping clerk functions, and inbound scheduler functions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education/ Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-4 years of production scheduling experience preferred, or 5-6 years of equivalent production scheduling or manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP, scheduling, MasterPak, or production planning systems preferred.
- Ability to analyze production data, track scheduling performance, and reconcile production tickets and related documentation.
- Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment and effectively interact with production personnel at all levels.
- Ability to influence, coordinate, and foster cooperation among cross-functional teams to achieve production and customer service objectives.

- The employee may occasionally reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment consists of both office and manufacturing settings. While on the production floor, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, varying temperatures, noise, dust, and other manufacturing-related conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
