Sr. Supply Chain Lead

Masonite Corporation seeks a Senior Supply Chain Lead in Fort Mill, SC to be responsible for the overall capacity and material planning, purchasing, warehousing, inventory control, scheduling activities to maximize efficiency and delivery performance. Lead production and inventory control team in attaining key metrics including on-time delivery performance, schedule adherence, working capital, and inventory health. Implement best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, material control, and scheduling. Understand plant's key performance indicators and contribute to achieve these goals both individually and as a team. Help identify 'vital signs' for the material and information flow through the entire value stream and utilize visual controls to monitor, support, and improve processes based on them. Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies. Work with central procurement and suppliers to develop and implement supply strategies to ensure correct delivery, quality, and supply of product from the supplier.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing Lean and Six Sigma tools in material and information flow including Kanban, Heijunka (production leveling), and hour-by-hour displays;
Utilizing ERP for daily material management, production control/scheduling, and order management;
Performing material handling and conveyance technology identification, application, and deployment;
Performing capacity analysis to identify process constraints and optimize scheduling for constraint uptime (Theory of Constraints);
Utilizing Vendor Managed Inventory system design for raw materials (supplied) and finished goods (delivered);
Utilizing proficiency in Manufacturing Operations Management Systems including Daily Accountability structure, Visual Controls, and Leadership Standard Work.
Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
