UV Paint Operator

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up the paint booth, operating the paint booth, adjusting the booth for proper application, troubleshooting the booth, and cleaning the booth at the end of a run. 
• Responsible for knowing the JSA's, Work Instructions, and LOTO procedures.  They must demonstrate proficiency in all of the above. 
• Responsible for keeping their operating supplies organized and on order to prevent us from running out of the necessary supplies to run the equipment.
• High level of responsibility, set up and run machine with no supervision, incorrect operation can result in damaged product, high COQ impact, or machinery and cause delays in customer shipments

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Operate computer controlled oven, retain high level of information, read/interpret schedules/tickets, perform quality checks, safety checks including guards and tooling, applicator changes, use multiple hand tools.
• Read/interpret tickets/schedule, Strong aptitude in measurement calculations and mechanical workings, Computer-controlled equipment knowledge of all aspect of the UV oven, including maintenance, applicator changes, mechanical understanding, door customer quality specs, door types, core types, Masterpack, knowledge of other positions including feeding the saw and catching the doors
• Must be able to communicate verbally/non-verbal cues with operator, door feeder and flippers.
