Sales Lead – Building Insulation, DACH

 

Location: Remote or Hybrid in Germany

 

About the position

Paroc, our Stonewool business, manufactures and provide insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption. Here at Owens Corning we are fully engaged in reducing our CO2 emission by a series of ongoing investments.

 

We are looking for a Sales Lead who will find passion in insulation technology to join our Stonewool Building Insulation team. The Sales Lead is partnering closely with German sales team to execute the Building Insulation strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets. This role will have the accountability of the sales results in the assigned territory in Germany.

 

What does success look like? 

  • Building confidential relationships with customers and key stakeholders and gaining understanding on customer needs
  • Providing consultative service and serving as a key point of contact for architects, contractors and key customers
  • Implementing sales plans to achieve sales targets
  • Monitoring and analyzing industry trends and competition
  • Building strong partnerships with our commercial teams in Germany and Europe
  • Continue to contribute to our strong cooperation with marketing and product teams in Europe
  • Developing commercial cleverness
  • Fostering an inclusive and diverse environment within the organization

 

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed

  • Strong business mindset. You are curious about our customer needs and able to translate these in our value proposition and pricing guidelines
  • Having a good technical understanding of building engineering and being capable of transferring this knowledge to value selling
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build, negotiate and close deals
  • Proven experience and network in German flat roof market
  • A continuous improvement mindset to increase efficiency in our processes
  • Embracing development and learning for current and future roles
  • Conducting yourself with the highest ethical and moral standards

 

 

Business requirements

 

  • professional training or bachelor level degree in the building or construction sector
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in roofing market
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Location: Remote or Hybrid in Germany
