This Sales Leader position is a key role in the long-term success of our business. This leader will work closely with European key accounts, contractors, and EPCs, overseeing their European tenders and maintenance work. This role involves setting long-term strategies for the segment, focusing on innovation in line with short, medium, and long-term business objectives. Collaboration with the local sales team is essential for business success. The Sales Leader is responsible for monitoring and delivering a Long Range Plan (LRP), maximizing revenue and gross margin through value based selling. The Sales Leader will also be responsible for collecting, understanding and acting upon relevant data, including customer insights, competitor insights and economic and industry data. Also people leadership is essential, managing a team of technical Sales Managers is part of the accountability.

  • Setting up the area of DACH (Germany (D)/ Austria (A) / Switzerland (CH)) for further growth

Business requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree from a relevant field of study e.g. Engineering, Business, Economics
  • 5+ years experience in managing and coaching sales teams
  • 5+ years experience in contributing to mid- and large-scale projects
  • Experience in Technical Sales within the Industry, understanding the value chain, and mid- & long term sales cycles
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Building Materials is highly preferred
  • Proven, inspirational leader with the ability to lead vertically and horizontally in international organization
  • Customer-oriented with a solution minded approach
  • Fluent in German and English
