Sr Sales Lead – Building Insulation, Finland

 

Location: Remote or Hybrid in Finland

 

About the position

Paroc, our Stonewool business, manufactures and provide insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption. Here at Owens Corning we are fully engaged in reducing our CO2 emission by a series of ongoing investments.

 

We are looking for a Sr Sales Lead, Building Insulation Finland who will be partnering closely with Finland Sales Leader and the rest of the commercial team to execute our Stonewool Building Insulation strategy. You will be leading a sales team total of 3 direct reports and have own, direct sales responsibilities. As a Sales Team Leader you will have overall accountability for achieving business targets in Finland, coaching your team and driving revenue and profit.

  • Developing and executing effectively BI sales plans and strategies

  • Fostering active collaboration with various business partners in Finland and the Nordic region  

 

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed

  • Strong business mindset. You are curious about our customer needs and able to translate these in our value proposition and pricing guidelines
  • Having a good technical understanding of building engineering and being capable of transferring this knowledge to value selling
  • An analytical mindset and skills; using data to develop and deliver insights and connecting the numbers with the markets is essential
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Ability to inspire a team towards achieving results
  • Financial acumen: master in the concept of margin and Price Volume Mix analysis
  • A continuous improvement mindset to increase efficiency in our processes
  • Having a Talent developing mindset with the ability to partner with many cultures across Europe
  • Conducting yourself with the highest ethical and moral standards

 

 

Business requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor and / or Master degree. Preferably an MBA degree or Engineering
  • 5+ years of Sales/Marketing or Commercial Excellence experience
  • Proven, inspirational Leader with the ability to lead vertically and horizontally
  • Fluent in Finnish and English
  • Location: Finland. Position requires travelling max 50%.
