Master Mechanic (Sign On Bonus - $1,500: $500 after 90 Days, 6 Months & 1 Year)

The Master Mechanic performs mechanical and electrical tasks with proven skill working with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, pumps, motors, AC/DC theory, PLC’s and other various craft related areas as needed.

 

Here’s a brief outline of this role…

 

  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Performs industrial facilities mechanical and electrical duties as necessary – pipe fitting, welding, machining, hydraulics and working with sheet metal at a level commensurate to experience.
  • Oversees and assists in all tank maintenance to ensure safe upkeep and regular compliance.
  • Comply with all plant rules and corporate policies with regard to business conduct.
  • Work with and manage third party maintenance activities as needed.
  • Order parts & supplies for planned maintenance activities.
  • All other job classification and relative duties as assigned or needed.

Must haves include…

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Proficiency with computers – Microsoft Office Suite and other programs as required.
  • Three to five years of relative work-related experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills & the ability to work with others.
  • Good trouble shooting skills in mechanical and electrical areas.
  • The ability to properly use hand and shop tools (ex. mechanical tools, welding tools, etc.).
  • Be able to read and write mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Provide valid proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Maintain regular attendance on site and have the ability to work varying shifts or overtime.

 

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

 

  • Must be able to routinely lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stand/walk unassisted throughout the facility as required.
  • The position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, bending, climbing, visual acuity and hand dexterity.
  • The ability to work in elevated positions.
  • Up to 50% of the work is outdoors.
