Production Coordinator

SUMMARY
The primary objective of this position is to provide leadership across all areas of the production line in order to ensure a safe, successful and efficient operation of the plant. This position will fill in as shift coach as needed. This position will also be responsible for keeping JHA’s, SOP’s updated.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily administrative duties related to production reporting – verifying production data, correcting any errors and confirming daily production.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis on process issues.
- Maintaining production and quality data. Updating and posting data.
- Coordinating with the Operations Leader and Shift Leaders on training of all new employees, including normal reviews and training needs.
- Maintaining updated roster of all Operations personnel.
- Fill in for Shift Leaders as needed.
- Assist in all Operations’ safety efforts and communications.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Leader or Shift Supervisor.

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES
The employee must be able to:

- Log on to company computer system
- Check e-mail
- Create, reply to e-mail
- Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other work specific systems – SAP, Kronos, etc.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
- Ability to routinely lift up to 25 lbs without assistance **
- Ability to routinely lift up to 40 lbs with assistance **
- Work for up to 12 hours in extreme hot/cold manufacturing environment
- Walk/stand on concrete floors continuously for up to 12 hours
- Routinely ascend and descend stairs .
- Safeguard self with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – steel toed shoes, eye protection (glasses, goggles, and/or facemask) as necessary for task
- Drive forklift and golf cart when necessary.
- Lifting, carrying, and traversing stairs with material when needed.
- Ability to rotate and work shift work up to 12/13 hours.
