Overview

Machine slabs for glass, latch, lock and site bores based off production tickets. Multi tasker with good organizational skills for managing stock and specials.

What you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting operating a CNC Machine
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

 

What you will do:

 

  • Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

 

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for CNC Operation

Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Ability to organize and maintain detailed records

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task

Ability to read tape measure to 1/32" inch and understand bill of materials

Basic computer skills & Common hand tool usage

CNC Machine, door and glass knowledge

Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.

Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid disruptions in production and customer service

High attention to detail detecting defects.
