Location: Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the U.S.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

About The Program:

Participants in the Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership Program take part in a structured development experience located at a manufacturing facility. The program’s duration is 24 months. During this time, participants receive experiential and formal training including: 

  • Learning from Incidences 
  • New Hire Safety Training 
  • Risk Assessments and Management 
  • Hazard Recognition Control 
  • Environmental Permit Compliance 
  • Total Productive Maintenance 
  • Injury Program Support 

 

Program Outcome: Upon completion, participants will be placed in a full-time assignment as a EHS Leader or Specialist at a North American Owens Corning manufacturing plant. 

 

What We’re Looking For: An enthusiastic candidate who takes initiative, drives results, and creatively navigates tasks. The ideal candidate demonstrates a desire to develop technical and leadership capabilities in a manufacturing environment. 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting  
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to lead projects and development project plans 
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations  
  • Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided) during or upon completion of the program 

 

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $73,000, with the potential for up to an additional 25% if the applicant hired has additional related qualifications.
