Work Location & Shifts: 970 Route 11, Kirkwood, NY 13795 | 1ST shift starting at 6:00 AM
Pay: The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Kirkwood and may not be applicable to other locations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare door slabs and related components for refinishing and ensure measurements and milling are correct
- Repair any components to ensure quality
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
- Performs a variety of tasks such as inspecting painted items for accuracy, assemble doors, sidelights, and other related components for completed product
- Read/ interpret tickets and assemble doors to sidelights (special orders)
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Makes sure parts match orders
- Performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed
- Ability to efficiently use air/hand tools
- MUST be able to read a tape measure to 1/32" inch
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with paint
- Read and interpret ticket, door/customer quality specs
- Identify defects
- Knowledge of sanders, planers, hand tools putty knife, sanding block wood chisel
- High attention to detail detecting defects
- Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function of the job in order to avoid any disruptions in production and customer service
- Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1-2 years in manufacturing environment, preferred
- 1-2 years Carpentry experience, preferred
