WHAT WE OFFER:
The base salary range for this position is $48,000-$62,000 with the potential for up to an additional 25% if the applicant hired has additional related qualifications. Responsibilities
- Verifies accurate usage of all raw materials
- Conducts inventory and bin management around stock adjustments, cycle counting, and issues of materials to jobs
- Sets up inventory locations, keeping materials organized, and maximizing space utilization
- Oversees all receipts of raw material and providing quality inspection
- Assists with the scheduling, coordination, and implementation of physical inventories
- Reconciles results from physical inventories expeditiously and accurately
- Provides analysis of inventory adjustments or revisions and ensure adjustments are audited, inspected, and properly tracked and documented
- Ensures accuracy and qualifies that raw materials meet supplier quality standards
- Reports and fixes errors with Bill of Material (BOM) issues
- Maintains components report- updates team on status of incoming materials
- Maintains back-order report daily
- Reviews all direct materials and sundry materials routinely to support the business
- Trains personnel on systems and processes as it relates to inventory Bin Location movement and adherence to the documented process
- Provides support and maintains open communication with plant management staff
- Masterpack interfaces all required production floor and scheduling issues or requested changes
- Schedules deliveries
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Detail orientated with a passion for working with numbers
- Ability to create and drive change and effectively communicate throughout the organization
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary
- Solid understanding in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience with inventory and cycle counting management in a manufacturing industry preferred
- Kaizen & 5-S experience desired but not required
- Experience utilizing and maintaining inventory accuracies with a Warehouse Management System
- Experience with standard practices in development of bar-coding process for shop floor control of inventory
management consumption and movement
- Forklift experience desired but not required
