Work Location & Shifts: 970 Route 11, Kirkwood, NY 13795 | 1ST shift starting at 6:00 AM
Pay: The hourly pay rate for this position is $22.00 – 25.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Kirkwood and may not be applicable to other locations.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of Tier 1 and 2 Boards data and information
- Assign process/team members to daily work assignments and ensure all required training and certification are evaluated and complied with for the assignment
- Attend Tier 2 Meeting escalating issue requiring additional support and communicating the results of the items escalated along with returning any required information to the Tier 1 team area
- Perform regular lean process audits to verify integrity of lean standards
- Maintain housekeeping and safety of the Tier 1 area. Provide training, demonstration and coaching to assigned process/Team on lean tools and methodology
- Assist production Supervisor with assessing team member development needs and developing training plans
- Holds regular engagements and Gemba walks with operators to facilitate achievements of production requirements, consistency, and teamwork
- Monitor and ensure a positive work environment for employees
- Ensure that roles and expectations are clearly communicated throughout the process team
- Respond quickly to “Andon” signals that require support
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Assist operators in the interpretation of procedures, methods, and correct use of production equipment to ensure procedures are followed
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to lead others
- Demonstrates good judgement in using tools, equipment, etc., when non-standard situation arises
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality as defined in attendance policy
- Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift to 50+lbs.
- Highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to implement change
- Have the patience, perseverance, and passion to drive the lean culture across the plant
- Must be able to pass forklift certification on Masonite Learning Management System “LMS”
- Ability to lead, influence and motivate a group of peers without direct supervision
- Performs other responsibilities as required
- Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Additional formal education and/or training is a plus
- 5 plus years work experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Working knowledge of and experience of production flow and processes
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
