Manufacturing Leadership Program

The Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) is designed to prepare candidates for technical or engineering roles in our manufacturing facilities while also providing them with early career training that will help them accelerate their careers. Upon completion of the program, participants can apply for management or technical positions. Manufacturing Leadership Program participants complete the entire program at the Owens Corning manufacturing facility in Klášterec nad Ohří – Foamglas division. During this time, they will be mentored by experienced technical and manufacturing professionals.

Duration: The program lasts 24 months.

Rotations: Participants participate in rotations in the following areas:

• Technical (12 months): Covers technical areas in support of technological processes.

• Production (6 months): Focuses on front-line leadership with a customer-centric approach and people management.

• Maintenance (6 months): Covers maintenance procedures, reliability, root cause analysis, supervision, and capital projects.

All areas include aspects such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM methodology) and internal safety programs.

Key responsibilities:

• Problem solving and information analysis to optimize processes.

• Investigate bottlenecks.

• Use expertise to improve production processes, products and cost efficiency.

• Work effectively and collaborate with other departments to improve production processes.

• Develop leadership and communication skills.

After completing the Manufacturing Leadership Program, further cooperation within the plant will be discussed across European production plants (Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Belgium, UK)

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who will take the initiative in the technical areas of the production plant. Deliver results, meet targets and be creative in tasks. Demonstrates a desire to develop technical and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment while furthering their career and long-term impact at Owens Corning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Engineering or a relevant field.

• Willingness and flexibility to relocate within Europe.

• Proficiency in English

LOCATION:

First two years Owens Corning manufacturing plant (Pittsburgh Corning CR, Foamglas division), Klášterec nad Ohří.
