Overview

Verify and maintain records on outgoing shipments of doors. Duties include verifying and arranging for the transportation of doors to internal or external clients.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Examine shipment contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders, to verify accuracy.
• Estimate freight and record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting or recordkeeping purposes.
• Negotiate and arrange transport of goods with shipping or freight companies.
• Determine method of shipment and prepare labels, bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents for all outgoing shipments including creating cross-border paperwork in MasterPak. Also label doors to be shipped.
• Work with outgoing courier shipments.
• Track delivery progress of shipments.
• Maintain records of all items shipped.
• Advise clients on transportation and payment methods. 
• Receive and respond to customer complaints.
• Provide Proof of Delivery for customer service and sales teams.
• Route schedule and LTL upload in TMS.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of door types preferred.

• Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency

• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos

• Must have good attendance and safety records.
• Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities and communication skills.
• Must have good organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
• Prior experience with MasterPak and TMS, preferred.
