About the position


In this role you will develop and execute a range of marketing programs to help drive sales and build preference for Owens Corning PAROC brand in the segments Process Industry and HVAC. You will contribute to segment marketing strategies and are responsible for turning strategy into marketing communications activities, designing, and developing product and channel marketing plans and budgets, in Europe (Process Industry) and locally (HVAC).


In Process Industry segment you’re responsible for handling all details of channel marketing programs and sales enablement in Europe (in English), including content development and activation, using external suppliers as budget allows. You have a key role in new product launches, including steps such as defining value propositions, ensuring competitive positioning, drafting key messages, developing marketing materials, and leading execution of right-sized and measurable omni-channel marketing activation in own and distribution channels. You ensure effective and frequent communication of key programs to the Industry sales team and channel partners.


In HVAC segment you’re responsible for local marketing activation and sales enablement, mainly in UK and Ireland, supporting also the Polish market. As a native English speaking team member, you will contribute to the development of centralized marketing materials, making sure they are meeting the expectations of a demanding technical audience. In local HVAC activation you will be able to make use of centralized marketing programs and materials designed for other European markets, whilst sometimes localization and minor local content development is needed. Clear processes, good team collaboration and a network of external suppliers will help you succeed in this role.  


Marketing Manager reports to Marketing Leader, Paroc Technical Insulation, Europe.

  • Compliant, efficient, well-organized and brand-aligned marketing material management, enabling agile and consistent brand building across all markets
  • Being a proactive team member, willing to share insights and learnings, whilst being able to compromise when needed 




Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed


  • Solid experience in marketing communications, in fields with technical products and B2B, preferably in the building & construction sector or heavy industry. 
  • Strong and talented communicator, with a passion to identify key messages and develop compelling and attractive marketing materials and activation
  • Experience of driving brand awareness and preference with impactful and integrated marketing programs, campaigns and sales enablement, launching new products and running always-on product activations.
  • Solid experience of leading and executing digital marketing activities, driving traffic to our websites and other key assets, capturing engagement and measuring marketing ROI.
  • Solid experience of marketing planning, budget management, and marketing pull and push tactics. Experience of managing marketing partners such as agencies and media. 



Business requirements


  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree, Marketing, Communications or related field required
  • 5+ years relevant Marketing experience, preferably with an international or global scope
  • (Near) native in English is a must. An additional European language is considered as a plus 
  • Strong ability solve problems and equipped with can-do attitude
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration and willingness to help the team to grow
  • Willigness to work and collaborate remotely
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Conducting yourself with the highest ethical and moral standards
