Work Location & Shifts:       1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE

                                                2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday -Thursday                     

Pay:   The hourly pay rate range for this position is 22.40 + shift differential and benefits.  Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.   This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations. 

What your day in this role might involve at OC-North Platte:

·       Set up, program, operate and to tend computerized woodworking machine (CNC router).

·       Start router machine, adjust controls, and make trial cuts to ensure that machinery is operating properly.

·       Determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints and work orders.

·       Feed doors into CNC machine to produce desired routing.

·       Adjust CNC machine tables or cutting devices and set controls to produce specified cuts or operations.

·       Monitor operation of CNC machine and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications.

·       Inspect and mark completed work pieces and stack them on pallets, so that they can be moved to the next workstation.

·       Verifies quality of all completed products and monitors production.

·       Masterpack data entry (scrap, reloads, production).

·       Ability to maintain focus while working individually

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

·       Must be mechanically inclined and have good math and measurement skills.

·       Must read and write English.

·       Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

·       Must have good attendance and safety records.

·       Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.

·       This position requires high attention to detail.

·       Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team

·       The ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlines

·       Technical education is a plus

·       This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be highly alert at all times

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 60-pounds)
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
