Owens Corning Corporate Services, LLC, seeks an HR System Lead in Toledo, OH to develop and maintain a working knowledge of OC’s configuration of HR systems, and the processes supporting its operations. Keep up to speed on changes to the systems that occur with ongoing updates and project implementations. Ensures all system architectural documentation and configuration documents are maintained and reflective of current design and structure. Using the ServiceNow toolset, manage support tickets for these systems and provide troubleshooting, assessment and resolution to users. Proactively escalate unresolved issues to HR systems leaders and/or advanced supplier partner support and monitor support tickets to ensure service level agreements are met. Monitor aging tickets and engage with appropriate resources to ensure the issue is brought to timely resolution consistent with HR Excellence expectations. Support accurate and timely delivery of US/CAN payroll operations and associated vendor management of BPO partner for payroll processing, garnishments, taxes, check printing and year-end document distribution. Perform various maintenance and testing activities as directed by the HR Systems Leaders in support of the various HR cycles. These include template creation, mass form movement, pick list maintenance, jobs/family updates, proxy and role-based permissions. Stay current on system functionality, new features and benefits that come with the quarterly releases. Lead various maintenance and testing activities. Manage user access and permissions to the various systems. Perform continuous improvement actions to create a stable, effective and efficient support environment. Collaborate and connect the dots with team members to ensure smooth end user experience. Develop, support and deliver training initiatives for HR system users to ensure system processes are consistently followed and understood throughout the organization. Work on projects supporting the broader HR Systems roadmap. Performs assigned tasks consistent with the project plan to ensure outcomes are delivered within scope, cost and timeline.  Performs requirements definition, vendor management, testing, process development and system workbook documentation.  Proactively identifies risks and escalates issues for management action and resolution. Drives the organization to achieve stable operations and continuous improvement with a focus on process efficiency, regulatory compliance and flawless execution. Communicate proficiently with Canadian HR partners and vendors in French and English to ensure technical and functional business needs are met and properly documented. Utilize French proficiency to understand business requirements, support business testing, and address pay related issues.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing experience with HR systems including payroll and HRIS and timekeeping, permissions/security, and reporting toolsets; utilizing experience with clous-based technologies and utilizing external partners for work delivery; working with Workday and SAP SuccessFactors Human Capital Management including system administration, configuration and testing; diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving HR system-related issues; creating and maintaining concise documentation for system processes and procedures, including testing scenarios and outcomes and standard operating procedures; utilizing Technical Project Management and IT Change Control methodology to implement and support HR system changes for a global organization; applying knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies for root cause analysis/elimination; and utilizing experience with North American payroll policies. Employer will accept two (2) years of related work experience as meeting the Bachelor’s degree requirement. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. UKG WFM certificate required. Proficiency in French required. 25% national travel required.
