As a Regional Sales Leader – Distribution Sales, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across Owens Corning's Roofing and Asphalt business within the assigned region. This role provides leadership to a team of Area Sales Managers and is accountable for developing customer-focused strategies, delivering strong commercial performance, and leading execution across the region.
You will partner closely with customers, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, strengthen market position, and drive profitable results. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, sales leadership, and a commitment to developing talent and creating value for customers.
POSITION LOCATION: Orlando, FL or Tampa, FL (must reside within the region; up to 50% travel required)
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead and develop a team of Area Sales Managers to drive profitable growth and market share across the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and key customer stakeholders.
- Develop and execute regional sales and market strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
- Analyze market conditions, customer trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Partner with the Area Director, Distribution Sales to support strategic planning, forecasting, pricing, and business performance initiatives.
- Drive accountability for sales performance, margin improvement, pricing execution, and operational excellence.
- Lead forecasting and business review processes, utilizing market insights and customer feedback to guide decision-making.
- Communicate business strategy and market perspectives to customers and industry partners, strengthening trust and long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support customer success and business growth.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and eliminate waste within commercial processes.
- Ensure adherence to Owens Corning values, safety standards, ethical business practices, and financial controls.
- Develop talent through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading sales, marketing, or commercial teams through direct leadership and influence.
- Demonstrated success building strong customer relationships and driving profitable business growth.
- Experience operating across multiple markets, geographies, or customer segments.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing pricing, profitability, and business performance.
- Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans and commercial initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through changing market and economic conditions.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
