This role will be supporting North American Technical Insulation Air Distribution business.   This position is accountable to drive profitable sales growth for our customers and Owens Corning by providing customer inspired solutions while executing on Owens Corning sales and marketing initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate will excel in a diverse team environment, working collaboratively with professionals across various functions to deliver unique value to our distributor and contractor customers. You will cultivate and maintain existing customer relationships within the territory while also forging new connections to support our growth objectives. Leveraging cross-functional resources, you will create and communicate a compelling value proposition, utilizing marketing tools, our product portfolio, construction data, and relationships to drive regional growth.   

 

Reports to:  Eastern Sales Lead, Air Distribution

Span of Control:  Individual Contributor

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

What your success looks like with Owens Corning

  • Strategically leveraging customer relationships to execute your annual sales plan and beyond, while helping your customers achieve their success.
  • Driving growth within the building materials industry; providing added value to OC and your customers
  • Partner with the strategic pricing team to plan and execute pricing strategies, leveraging customer insights to drive competitive positioning and increasing revenue.
  • Growing with existing customers while developing new customer opportunities.
  • Utilizing the knowledge of your market’s strengths and weaknesses to win.

Skills and Expertise Necessary to Succeed

  • Demonstrated success in full-cycle sales, from cold outreach to closing, with a strong ability to communicate value and ROI to executive stakeholders; 3–5 years of proven results in a sales role preferred.
  • Listening skills that allow you to understand, diagnose and solve customer problems.
  • Driving success in business with a clear and intentional customer or territory strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously, delivering high-touch support and strategic value in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Experience supporting and driving results across diverse, cross-functional teams, including multiple levels of the sales organization—inside sales, business development managers, national account managers, and external sales representatives—through strategic alignment, communication, and execution in a competitive market.
  • Ability to make persuasive product presentations.
  • Conducts self with the highest ethical and moral standards.

Business Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate must be located within the state of Florida
  • This is a home-based position with flexibility for both day and overnight travel as needed
  • Manage your territory strategy and schedule, with required travel approximately 35-45%. Benefit from team support and a company culture that prioritizes a healthy work-life balance.
  • Ability to operate across geographic and cultural boundaries
  • Direct sales experience of 3 – 5 years preferred
