About the position


We are looking for R&D Laboratory technician for a 12 months fixed-term employment as a family leave substitute, especially focusing on the product fire properties testing.

In this role, you would participate in various development projects by delivering test results and small-scale analysis for the project teams. Most of the testing would be related to different fire tests according to the standards and also participate and build different fire testing solutions. You will also be in contact with internal customers and participate in a variety of product and process development projects.

R&D Laboratory technician processes work orders independently, plans the work together with the team, performs analyzes and writes test reports. Responsibilities also include calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.



Laboratory technician reports to the R&D Laboratory team leader.

  • Suitable technical training or laboratory skills
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and fire properties is considered an advantage

  • Ability to drive forklift within R&D Laboratory premises


Business requirements


  • Degree from a relevant field of study
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in the laboratory environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English language
