    Overview
    Forklift Operator 1st Shift will be working 4:30am - 3:00pm Monday-Thursday on various duties as assigned by supervisor and will be required to follow SOP for specific job assignment. The forklift operator will work on orders that require, speed, precision, attention to detail and is required to meet specific deadlines.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Loading all lines as per the production requirements. (Architect, Edge, Face, 990, Cut Out)
    • Staging and organizing incoming product to the department to maximize flow.
    • Removing machined product from the lines and stage for shipping.
    • Keep raw materials and packaging materials stocked, as necessary.
    • Assist in finishing and packaging of completed units.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Lead Hand or Supervisor.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Strong product knowledge
    • Ability to read production schedule and tickets.
    • Ability to read a tape measure.
    • Basic knowledge of Masterpak is an asset.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Physical ability to lift heavy doors.
    • Strong attention to detail and high level of concentration is required.
    • Ability to work as a team or individually.
    • Ability to adhere to any/all safety regulations
    • Ability to sit, stand, or walk 10-hour shifts.
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

     

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED Preferred
    • Currently holds a valid state motor vehicle license and be in good standing
    • At least 2 years of forklift certification preferred
    • Satisfactorily pass a forklift driving/operation test
