Job Description

Employee is responsible for the shipping and receiving on first shift, M-Th 4:30am-3:00pm. Tasks are fast paced and require a high level of mental alertness. Most work is performed below shoulder level. Task requires repetitive use of hands. As time allows worker may do light clean up in his/her work area. Operate with a very high level of quality, safety, and productivity at all times. Read and Interpret production tickets and ensure product quality. 

 

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.
  • Unloads delivery vehicles and moves items to appropriate area.
  • Inspects for damage, compares items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and documents discrepancies.
  • Maintains records of all items received and shipped.
  • Prepares shipping paperwork for all outgoing shipments including creating cross border paperwork in Masterpak
  • Works with outgoing courier shipments.
  • Completes all electronic receiving and logging of purchase orders in Masterpak.
  • Assists with open order reporting.
  • Provides Proof of Delivery for customer service and sales teams.
  • Assists with inventory discrepancies and other duties to support the Supply Chain Team.
  • Books and receives appointments in Excel

 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Education

  • High School or equivalent

 

Experience

  • Preference given to applicants with experience in manufacturing industry
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
