Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in a variety of technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and scheduling.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to identify electrical issues.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Execute stick welding tasks for repairs or modifications on equipment as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for effective maintenance tracking.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Experience with hydraulics and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems effectively.
  • Skills in fabrication and welding, particularly stick welding, are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

Scheudle: 

  • 12 hour shift
  • Overnight shift
  • Rotating shift
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Portland, OR 97230: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour ($1.50 shift differential)
