PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The primary objective of this position is to manage and safely operate all Foam Extruder, Resin Silo unloading and Quality Control requirements.
This position will efficiently operate and perform tasks on the Russellville XPS Foam Plant’s Extruder, tasks include but are not limited to: product changeovers, maintaining process within targets, performing inspections and CILT’s, and reporting out performance.
As a operations team member, you will have many opportunities to extend your skill base and will be expected to accept responsibility and be accountable for contributing to the successful operation of the plant. Reports to: Operations Leader
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Foam Extruder Operations:
- Be able to operate feed system equipment and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to complete paperwork requirements and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate extrusion HMI systems and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate extrusion equipment and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate slinky/conveyor/tunnel equipment and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate emergency stops and perform all associated tasks.
Resin Silo Unloading:
- Be able to understand silo and surge bin hookup diagram.
- Be able to understand resin silo manifold.
- Be able properly direct and verify resin unloading hookup.
Quality Control Operations:
- Be able to operate board sampling equipment and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate board testing equipment and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate resin testing equipment and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to complete paperwork/data entry requirements and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate quality control HMI systems and perform all associated tasks.
- Be able to operate lab bar coder equipment and perform all associated tasks.
All other duties as may be assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE
- Previous Extrusion experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must be efficient with computers and all Microsoft Suite programs.
- Must have proficient experience with SAP computer maintenance management system.
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to follow through.
- Navigate HMI System (on hill).
- Navigate lab testing computer programs
- Ability to travel as needed. Travel will be heavier during start up as visit other OC plants to learn the business.
