Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leadership Program

 

Program Overview

The EHS Leadership Program is a structured, 24-month development experience designed for emerging professionals passionate about safety, sustainability, and leadership in manufacturing environments. Based at a manufacturing facility, participants gain hands-on experience and formal training in key areas of Environmental, Health & Safety, including:

 

Implementation and management of EHS systems

  • Development and execution of EHS policies and procedures
  • Design and delivery of EHS training programs
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance processes
  • Project management within EHS frameworks
  • Leadership and influence across teams
  • Exposure to manufacturing operations and processes

 

Key Responsibilities

As a participant in the program, you will:

 

  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct and support Job Hazard Analyses, risk assessments, and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Monitor and report safety metrics on a monthly basis
  • Participate in incident investigations and drive corrective actions
  • Perform daily EHS surveillance and site inspections
  • Lead and facilitate safety training programs across the site
  • Support ergonomic assessments and workplace improvements
  • Support regulatory reporting and interface with government agencies as needed
  • Lead EHS-related projects such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives

 

Candidate Profile

 

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Management or a related field
  • Academic achievers with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Experienced through internships or co-op placements in manufacturing environments
  • Strong communicators and project leaders with the ability to develop and execute plans
  • Analytical thinkers with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and open to relocation during or after the program for full-time opportunities
