As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment while leading daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, and customer service goals. This role provides frontline leadership for a team of hourly employees and plays a critical role in developing talent, driving engagement, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams to ensure efficient execution of production plans, maintain high standards of performance, and foster a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

SCHEDULE: Night Shift (Shift rotation may be required based on business needs)


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead daily safety activities, including pre-shift meetings, inspections, near-miss reporting, and incident investigations.
  • Drive TPM execution and continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned production area.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet output, efficiency, quality, and customer delivery objectives.
  • Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address operational variances.
  • Partner with Quality teams to ensure products consistently meet customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts to resolve quality, safety, and production issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and coach team members through ongoing feedback, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Identify skill gaps and support cross-training and development opportunities that build workforce capability.
  • Effectively administer workforce policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements as applicable.
  • Communicate plant performance metrics and business priorities to engage employees and drive accountability.
  • Partner with Maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Manage labor resources and staffing to meet production and cost objectives.
  • Analyze operational data and communicate performance results to plant leadership.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and employee engagement.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Encourage employee involvement in problem-solving and operational improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shift rotations, as business needs require.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that includes exposure to heat, dust, noise, and other production-related conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices, production operations, and quality systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and production management systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
  • Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
