Work Location & Shifts:
7220 US Highway 158, Stokesdale, NC 27357

3:00PM – 1:30AM Monday-Thursday; OT as needed 

Pay:   The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.65 + benefits. This information is specific to Stokesdale, NC and may not be applicable to other locations. 

What your day in this role might involve at OC-Stokesdale:

The primary purpose of this position is to safely provide glued inventory for useable products.

• Observe safety rules
• Keep areas and machines clean including Infeed, Outfeed, Prep Moulder, Glue Application area, and RF Gluer
• Learn working knowledge of inventory
• Inspect stock prior to being fed into prep moulder
• Keep reject lumber neatly stacked
• Band material to be offloaded in a timely manner
• Safely achieve increased quality and production as training period progresses
• Report machine issues to the operator, supervisor or maintenance promptly
• Assist in all preventative maintenance

What makes a successful OC Stokesdale team member:

Must haves include…

• Completion of 9th grade and be at least 18 Years Old
• Effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Self-motivated
• Good hand-eye coordination and be mechanically adaptable

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Lift 35lbs
• Stand for 10 hours straight
• Do repetitive movements (hand, wrist, and arm motions)
• Able to walk, bend, twist, stoop, and climb stairs
• Withstand heat in excess of 95 degrees and noise levels that may be uncomfortable
• Be exposed to wood dust and aluminum with no factors or hazards present to a disagreeable extent.
