One of our brands, Foamglas, manufactures and provides insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption.

 

We are looking for a Country Sales Leader for France who will be partnering closely with the Sales Leader of North West Europe & Distribution, peer Country Leaders and enabling functions such as Marketing, Finance, HR and Product Management to achieve our growth ambitions.

 

This position executes objectives and strategies within the business segment, commercial organization and key functional areas. In addition to this, the Country Sales Leader will also have direct front line sales responsibilities and related revenue targets.

 

It’s a pivotal role in the success of our business, balancing growth strategy with execution excellence while leading a team of Sales Professionals. 

 

About the position

 

Responsibilities

  • Setting long- and short-term sales strategies for the assigned region. Identify growth strategy, strategic segments and focus markets across France, aligned with the Foamglas European strategy
  • Ensuring the strategy is translated to solid sales action plans with clear allocated owners while partnering with marketing and technical product management to ensure aligned execution.
  • Defining and maintaining key accounts, sourcing and selecting dealers and distributors.
  • Leading a team of sales leads and technical support specialists (approx. 15 HC)

  • Contribute to the development of the regional strategy by providing market trend insights and customer requirements

Experience

  • Successful track record in leading a team of Sales Professionals
  • Commercial experience in a technical specification driven businesses.
  • Strong affinity with building and construction area.
  • Leading people, either directly in a people manager role, or in a project leader setting.

  • Relevant technical degree, e.g. engineering. Preferably at university level.
  • 5+ years of team leadership experience; managing, coaching and developing a Sales Team.
  • Relevant commercial experience in specification and / or project Sales. Preferably in the Building & Construction industry.
  • Ability to work in an international matrix organization.
  • Fluent in both English and French.
  • Location: the ideal candidate is located in the Greater Paris area to ensure proximity to customer base and team.
