The Forklift Operator - Stocking is an hourly position, reporting to the Controller/Warehouse Leader. The Forklift Operator - Stocking is primarily responsible and accountable for stocking all finished good material from production into the appropriate area in the warehouse.

Shift: Rotating 12-hr shift (B,D) 6:40 – 7:00

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Stocking
Consistent management of the transition building to ensure that all finished good material is moved to appropriate stocking bays by end of shift.
Work diligently to consistently open/reorganize/consolidate bays as appropriate with changeover schedule impact as a priority.
Comply with inventory management, including but not limited to individual pallet tracking, cycle counts, rework, and customer returns.
Work with other departments involved in activities relating to customer returns, product integrity, and production of finished goods.
Utilize RF terminal to properly scan appropriate product to staging location and electronically record movement of inventory to order from warehouse information system.
Perform job tasks in a manor to reduce adverse impact to the environment and adhere to environmental regulations and recycling procedures for waste disposal and all chemical usage and waste.

Other duties as assigned:
Identify quality and/or damage concerns and takes proper actions to prevent recurrence.
Perform cleanup duties including, but not limited to workstations, transition building, and longboard area.
Participate in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant.
Comply with all plant rules, safety regulations, and JHA requirements.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities/Physical Requirements:
•Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
•Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
•Must be 18 years or older
•Must be drug and alcohol free
•Must be able to read, write, and speak English
•Must be able to bend, lift up to 50lbs, kneel, stoop, stand, drive in a tow motor for 12+/hrs per day.
•Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
•Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently
•Must work well in team environment
•Must be able to secure and maintain Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification
•Must have to ability to do basic mathematical calculations
•Must be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment
•Related experience and/or training in an industrial environment
