SUMMARY

Owens Corning is looking for Warehouse Operators with manufacturing background in a fast paced production environment, ambitious, driven with leadership experience or motivated to develop into a leadership role and grow with a company.

The primary objective of this position is to understand, manage, and safely operate all aspects of the rework and repass process. All job functions listed below are

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate wrapper and perform all associated tasks
• Operate board grinders and prepare and feed scrap products
• Operate compactor equipment and associated tasks

Additional Responsibilities:

• Comply with all plant rules
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Regular Attendance and maintain a good attendance record
• Be a team player
• All other duties as assigned or needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Accurately read tape measurers
• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance
• Work up to 12 hours in hot/cold manufacturing environment
• Walk/stand on concrete floor continuously for up to 12 hours
• Safeguard self with Personal protective Equipment (PPE)
• Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
