PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 We are seeking a results-oriented and process-driven HR Manufacturing Process Leader to support the evolution of our Human Resources function within a dynamic manufacturing environment.   This individual will serve as the HR business partner to the VP Manufacturing Strategy and the Roofing TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) teams. 

 

Further, this role will lead and participate in critical HR initiatives that drive consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across Roofing manufacturing sites, ensuring HR project prioritization and effective resource allocation.  Collaborating with their team, this leader will execute key workstreams and projects that provide the highest value to Roofing and the enterprise inclusive of driving productivity, growing, and developing our talent, and implementing sustainable processes.  This role will be critical in the ongoing efficiency and success of our ever-changing and growing strategic initiatives.

 

This role reports to the VP, Roofing HR.

 

Organization size: Leads a team of four HR leads/leaders

 

Location: WHQ based; open to remote

 

Travel Requirements: 20-30%

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Process Standardization & Analytics

  • Utilize assessment and critical thinking skills to drive standardization of core HR processes (e.g., LMR, VIP, hourly recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, performance management) across manufacturing locations.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to identify inefficiencies, ensure compliance, and improve consistency and quality of HR execution.
  • Build and manage dashboards, scorecards, and reports that support visibility into key workforce metrics, enabling better decision-making across the business.
  • Partner with HR and operational leaders to translate analytics into meaningful process improvements and workforce strategies.

 

Strategic Program & Project Management

  • Build the pipeline of Roofing and enterprise projects and programs that will deliver the highest value; prioritize and allocate resources to execute.
  • Maintain strong connections with the HR Center of Excellence (CoE), both to be ahead of key HR initiatives, and to build partnerships that drive a strategic approach that will support successful management.
  • Facilitate project planning, stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure effective planning, execution, and communication of programs from concept to delivery.
  • Track milestones, manage risk, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

 

Greenfield Site HR Leadership (Project Magnolia)

  • Oversight of the HR infrastructure, systems, policies, and culture aligned with enterprise standards and local needs.
  • Collaborate closely with project leadership to ensure seamless talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement as the facility scales.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field (master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects or programs
  • Experience implementing or standardizing HR systems and processes across multiple locations
  • Advanced analytical skills; ability to interpret complex data sets and influence with insights
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities, including informal leadership through influencing others  
  • Proficient in HRIS, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience working with senior leadership
