Owens Corning Corporate Services, LLC, seeks an IT Solutions Architect in Toledo, OH to manage the life cycle of transportation technology solutions (assess to retire). Collaborate with Domain Architects, peers, and other IS leaders in the development and ongoing sustainment of the 3-year transportation IT Roadmap for the Owens Corning technology environment. Work with process leaders, and project teams to identify and define integration opportunities for the appropriate technologies. Ensure technology that is being delivered is contemporary and aligned with the IT Roadmap. Ensure the performance, support, sustainability, and life cycle management of logistics solutions are engineered in the design stage. Define, communicate, implement, and maintain the transportation offerings. Partner with others to maintain an awareness of Owens Corning business strategy to identify opportunities to apply technology appropriately. Design and drive the implementation of seamless and efficient transportation platforms. Collaborate with others to address the feasibility of technology solutions. Identify technical and implementation risks associated with a technology solution. Consult with project planners to develop statements of work for proposed solutions including assumption-based estimates, resources, integration points, and risks for transportation solutions. Lead execution technology assessments & POCs within transportation function(s). Manage external providers of development capacity as needed. Execute architectural processes and maintain artifacts within the EA standard framework. Ensure quality assurance on the design and implementation of technology solutions. Align and update OC Enterprise Reference Model business processes for all transportation processes. Maintain the functional specification architecture documentation.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: optimizing transportation process through the implementation, support and enhancement of the SAP transportation Management TM Module; guiding business customers through business case development for new applications and functionality, including cost/benefits analysis and risk/impact analysis; supporting SAP Transportation Management module, reviewing incident backlogs, prioritizing issues and working towards resolution; planning and managing unit testing, integration tests, and facilitating cross-functional, end-to-end business process testing via business champion users; utilizing experience in SAP Transportation module managing the life cycle of transportation technology solutions; designing and driving the implementation of seamless and efficient transportation platforms including working on transportation management roadmap; ensuring the system performance, support, sustainability, and life cycle management of logistics transportation management solutions that are engineered in the design stage; and liaising with business process leaders, information systems subject matter experts within transportation function. The employer will accept three (3) years of study toward a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related work experience to satisfy the bachelor's degree requirement
