As an Indirect Customer Account Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Owens Corning’s indirect customer programs through accurate account management, data governance, compliance administration, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for maintaining customer program data, supporting membership lifecycle activities, and ensuring a seamless experience for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

 

You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Legal, and external vendors to support program operations, resolve account issues, maintain data integrity, and drive process improvements. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, customer focus, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer program memberships, including onboarding, renewals, account maintenance, and status changes.
  • Maintain accurate customer account information across business systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with program requirements.
  • Support customer eligibility and compliance processes, including documentation review, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer account inquiries, escalations, and program-related support.
  • Manage user account administration activities, including account creation, updates, deactivations, access support, and troubleshooting.
  • Verify customer information, certifications, and program participation requirements to support program integrity and business processes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support customer communications, fulfillment activities, and program execution.
  • Monitor and maintain customer profile information to ensure consistency across business systems and customer-facing platforms.
  • Support customer incentive, rewards, and funding programs through accurate account validation and data management.
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures that support consistent, scalable, and efficient program operations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve account, system, and data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that support program performance, customer engagement, and business decision-making.
  • Conduct audits and validations to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Resolve data discrepancies and support alignment across systems used to manage customer programs and reporting.
  • Deliver timely, professional support to customers and internal stakeholders while meeting service expectations.

 


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business operations, customer support, program administration, marketing, sales support, or a related field.
  • Experience working with internal and external customers in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage sensitive or complex situations effectively.
  • Experience working with business systems, databases, reporting tools, or customer management platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assess information, make sound decisions, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting customer, contractor, dealer, distributor, loyalty, or membership-based programs.
  • Experience with CRM systems, customer portals, account management platforms, or data governance processes.
  • Experience developing reports, auditing data, or supporting business analytics.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships or coordinating third-party services.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, or Customer Success functions in a matrixed organization.
