PROGRAM EXPERIENCE

At Owens Corning it’s our people that make the difference. Our Strategic Leadership Development Program recruits outstanding student leaders who are prepared to tackle complex problems. Program participants will accelerate their career in Strategic Marketing and join a unique cohort of individuals who are driving the future at Owens Corning.

 

You’ll be immediately immersed into a highly collaborative and global environment. This fast-paced program provides you with an opportunity to leverage your professional experiences and apply your academic foundation, while broadening your leadership and defining your career path.

 

As a Strategic Leadership Intern your primary focus will be on advancing the company’s top growth initiatives. Expect a challenging assignment from one of our global businesses  that leverage and refine your strategic acumen within areas such as: market segmentation, value proposition development, business insights, product and digital innovation, commercial growth, pricing, and project management. You will be surrounded by a team of highly talented leaders and mentors excited to invest in your future as well as exposure to and connection with senior and executive leadership.  You’ll also connect and learn from peers within the program through social events, philanthropic volunteerism and a cohort project.

 

Strategic Leadership Interns serve as the primary source of candidates for the company’s Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP). Upon entry into the program, candidates will complete a 24-month assignment in one of Owens Corning’s businesses where they will use the program to continue to hone their leadership skills.  Career opportunities in the program are designed to accelerate readiness to create future Marketing Directors and other Leadership roles who will actively lead Owens Corning into the future.

 

Span of Control:  This is an individual contributor role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have completed one year of an MBA program (with program completion expected within one-two semesters)
