As a Pricing Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the execution of customer pricing and program strategies across designated business areas, segments, and customer groups. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely processing of pricing and rebate programs while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Treasury, and Pricing Strategy teams.

 

You will help drive reliable financial outcomes and a positive customer experience by translating pricing strategies into operational execution, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and processes. This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a customer-focused mindset to support both internal stakeholders and external partners.

 

POSITION LOCATION: Toledo, OH. Hybrid 4 days in office


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Execute and manage day-to-day customer pricing activities, including pricing updates, special requests, price supports, and notifications.
  • Analyze pricing requests and perform margin assessments to support alignment with financial and strategic objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, including customer deductions, credits, debits, and order issues requiring correction or validation.
  • Administer and monitor customer rebate and program structures, including accruals, rates, adjustments, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of pricing and programs in systems to support billing accuracy and financial reporting.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Treasury, and Pricing Strategy teams to support decision-making and alignment with pricing policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide support to sales teams and internal stakeholders by serving as a resource for pricing processes, systems, and methodologies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, investigate root causes of issues, and support implementation of solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to team goals by supporting collaboration, maintaining service levels, and ensuring timely completion of requests and issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of experience in pricing, finance, accounting, or a related analytical field.
  • Experience analyzing data and applying financial or pricing concepts to support business decisions.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP or business systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy, responsiveness, and service quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with pricing programs, rebates, or financial accruals.
  • Familiarity with supply chain or order-to-cash processes.
  • Experience supporting audit processes or working in a SOX-controlled environment.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement tools, methodologies, or process optimization initiatives.
