As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting profitable growth by executing customer pricing and program activities accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company objectives. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Treasury, and Pricing teams, ensuring customer pricing and rebate programs are administered effectively while delivering accurate financial outcomes.

 

You will be responsible for managing pricing requests, analyzing program impacts, supporting customer and sales teams, and maintaining strong financial controls. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Administer, process, and maintain customer pricing activities, including day-to-day pricing requests, special pricing agreements, price supports, and price notifications.
  • Analyze and execute customer pricing requests while ensuring compliance with established pricing policies and approval authorities.
  • Conduct margin analysis and provide recommendations to support pricing decisions and customer requests.
  • Investigate, process, and reconcile pricing-related customer adjustments, including credits, debits, and payment deductions.
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies, billing issues, and customer orders requiring price validation or correction.
  • Administer and monitor customer rebate, incentive, and pricing programs to ensure accurate execution and reporting.
  • Manage program accruals, rates, adjustments, and modifications in support of business objectives.
  • Analyze program performance and implement required updates to maintain program effectiveness and financial accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and established business processes.
  • Support accurate pricing and program setup to ensure reliable financial reporting and business performance.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to support customer needs and business objectives.
  • Provide daily support and guidance to sales teams regarding pricing methodology, systems, and processes.
  • Act as a trusted resource for pricing inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service levels, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, root cause elimination, and operational excellence.
  • Document and follow standard operating procedures while recommending enhancements to improve productivity and effectiveness.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in pricing, finance, accounting, treasury, business analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and make sound business recommendations.
  • Experience working with pricing models, financial analysis, customer programs, or related business processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with customer pricing, rebate programs, or commercial finance processes.
  • Knowledge of pricing methodologies, financial controls, and margin analysis.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience supporting sales organizations or customer-facing business processes.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing business environments.
