SUMMARY
The Pricing Generalist is responsible for providing operational support primarily to Pricing Analysts, as well as to our customers & sales teams. The primary focus of the Pricing Generalist is to provide day to day execution support to all Pricing Operations teams, supporting the businesses of: Insulation, Foam, Roofing, Composites & Asphalt. This role is accountable for investigating, correcting, and clearing daily pricing bill blocks, customer price deductions, and issuance of adjustments. The Price Generalist role exists to serve our customers, our teams and our company in a way that delivers accurate financial results. Employees who are successful in this role are considered as potential bench talent for the Price Analyst position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Price Accuracy:
- Partner with various internal and external resources to resolve all pricing bill blocks & customer price variances & deductions in alignment with the stated cycle time goals
- Identify root cause analysis and develop corrective actions or initiatives to prevent bill blocks & customer price variances
- Execute timely issuance of credits and debits
- Assist as needed to maintain pricing conditions and execute price increases
- Partner and support the price analyst team during peak periods of rebate activity to achieve the timely and accurate completion of rebate loading & processing
- Execute reporting for customers, pricing team and business partners
- Manage other business specific day to day activities in support of the team
- Assure decisions are made within stated levels of authority
Financial Accuracy & Compliance:
- Assure proper compliance with the SOX controls and audits
- Complete all audit and reporting activities in alignment with standard operating procedures and within stated response times
Serve our Customers & Internal Partners:
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to assure accuracy related to day-to-day work
- Execute with a sense of urgency to provide timely responses aligned with established cycle time goals
- Partner and collaborate with all internal & external resources to drive service excellence through the end-to-end process

JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred 1-3 years pricing, finance, customer service, supply chain, and/or accounting experience
